This is a must project, a Hartley Oscillator for 80 meters (notice the grid coil)

Hammerlund variable capacitor , old mica caps, and a Cunningham 210 vacuum tube.

Nice Hamfest find ,an old  Senator "Battery Eliminator" or ABC supply.

It was originally in a metal case. I  thought it would be nice to show off the parts, so I mounted on this spanish cedar board.

The filter capacitor is the old wax type, and still works as well as the day it was made!
