The 1920's is my favorite era of vacuum tubes.

I will try my best to pass on some goodies to everyone.

I like engraved bases , mesh plates and big balloon triodes.

I even built a monoblock around the old RCA 250 

I get alot of requests for Vacuum Tubes with "mesh plates".

Back in the 20's ...  Vacuum Tubes with Mesh Plates was an easy form of manufacture , and it worked!.

A 1/2 inch of your " houses screen door" wrapped around a pencil , with a "spot welded" tab.

The "snapfoo" was the oversized cathode heaters the tubes needed.

The tubes greatest attribute!.

Thermionic transmission of electrons.. HEAT
